Presentation
The first International Symposium of Morphology (ISMo) will be held in Lille, France, on December 13-15, 2017. The conference stems from the desire of French morphologists to have a regular event of high scientific level where one can present results or discuss data and analyses, following the footsteps of the Décembrettes conference. ISMo is scheduled to be held every other year in different locations in France.
For the first edition, the organizers invite submissions for original talks or posters on all aspects of morphology, whatever the language or the theoretical framework. Possible topics include (but are not limited to):
o Inflection and derivation
o Construction and organization of the lexicon
o Typological, diachronic and sociolinguistic approaches
o Psycholinguistic, cognitive and computational approaches
o Interfaces with phonology, syntax and semantics
Abstract submission
Although English is strongly encouraged, abstracts can be submitted in English or French. They must be strictly anonymous and no longer than 4 pages long (bibliography and annexes included, Times 12).
